I am so used to baking anything and have always relied not only on conversion charts but also scales to weigh ingredients plus also use those wonderful European measurement cups which can be found in most specialty kitchen stores I hope this partial chart does help everyone world wide I tried to be very specific for everyone. 3. WHY IS CORNSTARCH USED IN MANY EUROPEAN BAKED GOODS RECIPES???
4. Cornstarch is used in combination with flour in many European cake and cookie recipes because it produces a finer-textured, more compact cake or a more tender cookie than flour alone.
