This is a Pittsburgh post- recipe. There is pasta in it, but no beans, I don't get why it is Pasta E Fagioli, but the recipe is good and easy, even without the Fagiolli Ingredients:
2 cups elbow macaroni |
8 ounces tomato sauce |
15 ounces hormel chili, no beans |
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated |
Directions:
1. Cook pasta until al dente. 2. Drain. 3. In the same pasta pot add tomato sauce,chili, cheese and pasta. 4. Heat on low until warm. 5. Stir and serve. 6. Pass the hot pepper flakes for those who like it hot and more parmesan for cheese lovers. |
