Ingredients:
2 yeast cakes |
1 teaspoon(s) salt |
1/2 cup(s) sugar |
2 cup(s) luke warm water |
1 eggs |
6-1/2 cup(s) sifted flour |
1/2 cup(s) oil |
Directions:
1. Crumble yeast into large mixing bowl. Add sugar, salt, water and a well beaten egg. Add 1/2 flour; beat well. Add melted oil, mix in most of flour retaining 1-1/2 cups to kneed in. Kneed well. Let rise to double; punch down; add a little more flour and kneed. Make into 3 loaves or rolls. Let rise to double for about 3 hours. Bake at 375 in well greased pans. |
