Indonesian Yellow Coconut Rice

Jasmine rice, sauteed w/cloves, cardamom, and lemongrass; cooked in turmuric water. Would be good with eggs, chicken, or maybe tempeh.
Ingredients:
1 cup coconut milk
8 oz rice
1 tbsp walnut oil
1 tsp salt
Directions:
1. Infuse chopped, fresh turmuric in simmering water for 5 minutes.
2. Strain and add the turmeric water and coconut milk to rice that has been sauteed w/cloves, cardamom, and pieces of lemongrass.
3. Season, cover, steam until done.
4. (4 cloves, 1 sliced lemongrass stalk, 7 green cardamom pods).
