2 cups dry lentils |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
3 garlic cloves (sliced) |
1 onion (diced) |
1 tablespoon ketchup |
1 (13 ounce) can unsweetened coconut milk |
1 tablespoon ground coriander |
2 teaspoons ground cumin |
1/2 teaspoon chili powder |
2 teaspoons turmeric |
1 1/2 teaspoons garam masala |
Directions:
1. Cook lentils in 4 cups water until tender. 15-25 minute Meanwhile saute the garlic and onion in the oil. Transfer to a medium sized bowl and add the rest of the ingredients and stir very well. 2. Once lentils are soft, combine the onion mixture with the lentils in a slow cooker and cook over low heat for at least two hours. 3. Enjoy. |
