This is such a quick, inexpensive and tasty stew for a very cold day. I also like to do this recipe in a crock pot on low for 5 hours. Ingredients:
1 medium onion, chopped |
1 medium bell pepper, chopped |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 lb ground beef |
1 (10 ounce) can whole kernel corn (drain water) |
1 (10 ounce) can tomato soup |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can chopped tomatoes |
0.5 (10 ounce) soup can water |
2 teaspoons sugar |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
ground pepper |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
2 tablespoons flour |
Directions:
1. Place butter in large sauce pan pan and melt. 2. Add onion and peppers, cook until tender. 3. Add ground beef and cook until brown. 4. Drain grease off of beef. 5. Add corn, tomato soup, chopped tomatoes, water, worcestershire sauce, sugar, salt and pepper to taste. 6. Sprinkle in flour and stir. 7. Cover and simmer for 45 minutes. |
