This simple recipe makes a tasty party snack. Use your favorite nuts and add a bit of heat with a dash of ground red pepper,if you like Ingredients:
1-1/2 tsp brown sugar |
1-1/2 tsp honey |
1 tsp canola oil |
3/4 tsp ground cinnamon |
1/8 tsp salt |
1/8 tsp ground cardamom |
1/8 tsp ground cloves |
dash of fresh ground pepper |
1/4 c blanched almonds |
1/4 c cahews |
1/4 c hazelnuts |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees 2. Combine first 8 ingredients in microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at high for 30 seconds;stir till blended. Add nuts to sugar mixture;toss to coat. 3. Spread nuts evenly on baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 15 mins. or till golden brown. Cool |
