Indian Spiced Chicken Wings |

Add a spicy tang to some baked chicken wings for a brilliant appetizer for dinner parties Ingredients:
3/4 cup thick natural yoghurt |
1 tblspn garam masala (bought or home made) |
2 garlic cloves, crushed |
1.5 tspns ground turmeric |
4cm piece ginger, peeled, grated |
2 tblspns lemon juice |
1.5kg chicken wings, washed, dried and cut at the joint to make wingettes |
steamed rice and pappadums to serve |
Directions:
1. Combine yoghurt, garama masala, garlic, turmeric, ginger and lemon juice in a large bowl 2. Add chicken wing/ettes 3. Toss to coat 4. Cover 5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight if time permits (longer better) 6. Preheat oven to 200 deg C 7. Line an oven tray with baking paper 8. Place a wire rack on paper 9. Arrange chicken wings in a single layer on rack 10. Roast for 30-45 mins or until golden and cooked through 11. Serve with rice and pappadums |
