Indian Spice Turkey Tacos |

A substitute for salsa turkey taco meat I made for avoiding the cooked tomato in salsa. It came out really good, even to eat by itself! Ingredients:
1 lb ground turkey |
1 small onion, chopped |
4 garlic cloves, chopped |
1 -2 tablespoon olive oil |
1/2 teaspoon oregano |
1/2 teaspoon ginger powder |
1/2 teaspoon turmeric |
1/2 teaspoon cumin |
1/4 teaspoon coriander |
1/8 teaspoon paprika |
1/8 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 cup chicken broth |
1/8 cup cilantro, chopped |
Directions:
1. At medium heat in fry pan, sauté onion until lightly browned in oil. 2. Add garlic, cook another minute. 3. Add remaining spices and cook another minute. 4. Add broth and stir. 5. Add turkey and mix while chopping up. 6. Cover, stirring occasionaly until turkey is well-cooked, 20-30 minutes. 7. Add cilantro and mix. |
