My aunt used to make this almost every Sunday, when i was a child and i remember running home from Sunday School in anticipation of this dish. Its great, quick and easy to prepare. Ingredients:
1 whole chicken cut up in small pieces ( of you can use boneless chicken breasts as well) |
water enough to cover the chicken pieces |
2 tbs ginger paste |
2 tbs garlic paste |
2 tbs cumin seeds or powder |
1/2 tbs tumeric |
1 tbs chilli powder |
salt to taste |
2 lemons |
3 eggs beaten |
2-3 cups bread crumbs |
oil as needed |
Directions:
1. In a pot add Chicken, Water, Salt, Garlic, Ginger, Cumin, Tumeric and Chilli. 2. Boil it for about 20 mins. 3. Let it cool. 4. Beat your eggs 5. Dip individual Chicken pcs in the egg 6. Coat with bread crumbs 7. Heat oil in Frying pan and cook until golden brown on all sides 8. Serve with fresh lemon or lime 9. Enjoy! |
