I love this recipe. It is so fast and easy and yummy. I sometimes drizzel it with some warm honey or sprinkle with some powdered sugar. Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
3 tablespoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
3/4 cup milk |
2 tablespoons sugar |
oil, i use peanut oil (for frying) |
Directions:
1. Combine dry ingred. 2. Add milk. 3. Mix well to form a dough. 4. Pat out on a floured board to about 1/4 inch thick. 5. Cut into 2x2 or 3x4 inch squares. 6. Fry in hot oil, about 350°F. 7. Brown lightly on both sides. 8. Serve warm. |
