My mother uses this recipe when cooking Indian. Ingredients:
2 cups whole wheat flour |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup milk |
1/2 cup water |
1 cup butter |
Directions:
1. Melt the butter in a frying pan on stove top. 2. Mix the flour, salt, milk, and water. 3. Let dough mixture rest for 2 hours. 4. Make 6 balls from dough. 5. Roll out the 6 balls. 6. Brush with some of melted butter. 7. Fry the dough in the rest of the melted butter with stove top set on medium. |
