Ears of corn may be made several days ahead and then stored in an airtight container. Ingredients:
3 tablespoons butter or margarine |
1 (10-ounce) package marshmallows |
6 cups crisp rice cereal |
1 cup peanut butter morsels |
1 cup candy corn |
yellow plastic wrap |
wooden craft sticks |
kraft paper twine |
raffia |
Directions:
1. Melt butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows, stirring until melted. Remove from heat; stir in cereal, peanut butter morsels, and candy corn. 2. Coat 6 (7-inch) pieces of yellow plastic wrap with cooking spray; divide cereal mixture into 6 equal portions. Wrap each portion in plastic wrap, rolling tightly and shaping to resemble ears of corn. Insert a wooden craft stick 1 inch into larger end of ear; cool completely. 3. Untwist twine to form crinkled paper; cut paper to resemble corn husks. Attach husks to larger end of ear with raffia. |
