I couldn't believe this recipe until I saw it made, so I wrote it down. These Ecuadorean chefs sure know how to use a blender. Ingredients:
3/4 cup sugar |
1/8 teaspoon salt |
1/4 cup lemon juice, fresh |
3 egg yolks |
1/4 cup cornstarch |
1 cup water |
1 lemon, zest of |
1 tablespoon unsalted butter |
Directions:
1. Mix the cornstarch in the water. 2. Put all ingredients into the blender and blend until smooth. 3. Pour from the blender into a saucepan and cook over low heat until it thickens. 4. Done! 5. South American magic. |
