A healthy, chewy, sweet and salty vegan blend of oats, honey, cacao and bananas. We sell this at our local farmers' market and sell out every time!
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1/2 cup oat bran
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup sunflower oil
1/4 cup honey
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup cocoa nibs
1 cup dried banana (or other fruit)
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients thoroughly,
2. press into an oiled 9 inch square tray (silicon is best),
3. and bake for 20-25 minutes at 350 degrees.
4. Allow to cool before cutting into bars. Will keep for weeks stored in airtight container in fridge. Also freezes well.
