So delicious and makes a big cake. Ingredients:
2 cups flour |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons cinnamon |
2 cups sugar |
1 1/2 cups salad oil |
4 eggs |
1/2 cup chopped nuts |
2 cups grated carrots |
1 (8 ounce) can crushed pineapple, drained |
Directions:
1. Sift dry ingredients. Add sugar, salad oil and eggs. 2. Combine and beat until batter is smooth. 3. Stir in carrots. 4. When well blended add nuts and pineapple. Mix thoroughly. 5. Put batter into a greased and floured 13 X 9 inch pan. 6. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. 7. Frost with a cream cheese icing. |
