No taco shells are needed for enjoying the great taco flavor of this easy main dish pie. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 medium onion, chopped |
1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope taco seasoning mix |
1 (4 1/2 ounce) can green chilies, drained |
1 cup milk |
2 eggs |
1/2 cup bisquick baking mix |
3/4 cup shredded monterey jack cheese |
salsa |
sour cream |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400°F. 2. Grease 9 inch pie plate. 3. Cook ground beef and onion in skillet over medium heat stirring occasionally until beef is brown; drain. 4. Stir in seasoning mix (dry). 5. Spoon into pie plate; top with chilies. 6. Stir milk eggs and Bisquick mix until blended. 7. Pour into pie plate. 8. Bake about 25 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. 9. Sprinkle with cheese. 10. Bake 8 to 10 minutes longer. 11. Cool 5 minutes. 12. Serve with salsa and sour cream. |
