Found this recipe in an old cookbook that belonged to my wife's aunt. Ingredients:
4 eggs |
1/2 cup margarine |
1/2 cup flour |
2 cups milk |
1 cup sugar |
1 cup coconut |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
1 pinch nutmeg |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients in a blender or with a mixer. 2. Pour mixture into a 10 inch pie plate. 3. Bake 350F approximately 1 hour or until centre is firm. 4. NOTE: This pie makes its own crust. Very good with ice cream. |
