From Tastes for All Seasons by Crye-Leike. Ingredients:
12 slices bacon, crispy fried and crumbled |
1 cup shredded natural swiss cheese |
1/3 cup onion, chopped |
2 cups milk |
1 cup bisquick baking mix |
4 eggs |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon black pepper |
Directions:
1. Heat oven to 400*F; Grease 10-inch quiche dish or pie plate. 2. Sprinkle bacon, cheese and onion into plate. 3. Beat remaining ingredients together until smooth, 15 seconds in the blender or 1 minute with hand beater. 4. Pour into pie plate. 5. Bake until knife inserted between center and edge comes out clean, 35 to 40 minutes. 6. Cool 5 minutes. 7. VARIATION: Can substitute crab meat for the bacon. |
