Imitation Crab Meat Cakes |

Louis kemps' imitation crab (which is made from polluck, a delicious white fish, was inspiration for these cakes. A fast and easy but very tasty dish and you have another fish meal for the week. Ingredients:
1 12 oz package of louis kemp imitation crab |
1 egg |
1 package (usually 3 or 4) scallions |
root bottom removed , cut in half |
i used the whole scallion white and green part |
old bay seasoning to your liking |
a few drops hot sauce |
cayenne pepper seasoning |
flour |
egg |
panko bread crumbs or regular plain |
oil twice around skillit |
2 pats butter |
Directions:
1. Put all ingredients ending with the cayenne into blender(or processor) 2. you may leave a little chunky or purree, your choice 3. remove from blender 4. form into large cakes 5. - 6. dip in flour, egg and breadcrumb 7. fry til they reach crispiness desired 8. serve with your preferred fish sauce 9. That's it! |
