Ginger cookies for Passover Ingredients:
2 cups matzo meal |
1/4 lb powdered ginger |
3 eggs |
1/2 lb honey |
3/4 lb sugar |
Directions:
1. Mix the flour, ginger, and eggs to make a dough. Set the dough aside until it dries. 2. Boil the honey and sugar until it gets a reddish color. 3. Beat the dough into the honey, set back on stove, stirring constantly. 4. When the mixture is thick and has a reddish color, place on the board to cool. 5. Roll and cut into two-inch lengths. |
