The carambola and grapes will not freeze solid, but they become icy, making this a refreshing hot weather dessert. Ingredients:
1 carambola (star fruit), cut crosswise into thin slices |
24 seedless red grapes |
1 cup pineapple sherbet |
1 cup gingerale, chilled |
Directions:
1. Divide carambola and grapes evenly among 4 tall glasses. Place in freezer until ready to serve. 2. To serve, spoon 1/4 cup sherbet on top of fruit in each glass. Pour 1/4 cup gingerale over each serving, and serve immediately. |
