This recipe was found in a collection of recipes. The lady owned a small cafe in a small town. This cake was served in the cafe. Ingredients:
1 box chocolate cake mix |
first icing |
1 cup sugar |
1 cup evaporated milk |
1 cup small marshmallows |
1/2 cup coconut |
second icing |
2 cups sugar |
3/4 cup evaporated milk |
1/2 stick unsalted butter |
20 large marshmallows |
2 cups chopped pecans |
Directions:
1. Bake cake by directions
2. Bake in a 9 X 13 cake pan
3. When done, remove from oven, poke holes in cake with a fork
4. FIRST ICING
5. In pan, combine sugar, evaporated milk
6. Let boil 4 minutes
7. Remove and add small marshmallows, coconut
8. Pour over cake
9. SECOND ICING
10. In pan, combine sugar, evaporated milk, butter
11. Let boil 4 minutes
12. Remove and add large marshmallows, nuts
13. Pour over cake
