Ingredients:
1 1/3 cups butter, softened |
1 cup brown sugar |
4 egg yolks |
1/2 teaspoon rum extract |
3 cups flour |
2 tablespoons eggnog |
4 1/2 cups powdered sugar |
3/4 cup butter, softened |
1 1/2 teaspoons rum extract |
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg |
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
3 tablespoons eggnog |
Directions:
1. Cream 1 1/3 cups butter and brown sugar in a bowl. 2. beat in egg yolks 2 tablespoons eggnog and extract. 3. beat in flour. 4. cover and chill for 2 hours. 5. shape into 1 inch balls place on a baking sheet. 6. bake at 325 for 14 minutes. 7. cool on wire racks. 8. for the frosting, beat together powdered sugar, 3/4 cup butter, 1 1/2 teaspoons extract, nutmeg and cinnamon. 9. beat in eggnog and spread over cookies. |
