popular drink here in NZ Ingredients:
4 teaspoons instant coffee |
1/3 cup hot water |
4 scoops vanilla ice cream |
2 1/2 cups ice-cold milk |
1 1/4 cups cream |
chocolate sprinkles (for decorating) |
Directions:
1. Divide coffee between 2 tall serving glasses. 2. Divide the water evenly, pouring it into each glass to dissolve the coffee. 3. Place 2 scoops of the ice cream in each glass. 4. Pour milk over the ice cream. 5. Whip the cream until firm peaks form and carefully spoon or pipe on top. 6. Decorate with the chocolate sprinkles. 7. (this can also be made replacing the water with hot milk, then proceed as above). |
