Kate makes the chocolate sauce with homemade liqueur.
Ingredients:
6 ounces bittersweet chocolate, chopped
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
1/2 gallon purchased vanilla ice cream
Directions:
1. Combine chocolate, liqueur, and whipping cream in heavy small saucepan. Whisk over medium heat until melted and smooth.
2. Scoop ice cream into dessert dishes or goblets. Spoon warm sauce over. Serve, passing additional liqueur.
