Ice Cream Sandwich Frozen ' Layered Cake' |

Very easy and DELICIOUS! I basically took a couple other recipes and adapted it to how I'd like it. Look at the photo to get my directions. Ingredients:
16 -24 ice cream sandwiches |
1 (16 ounce) container cool whip |
1/2 cup sliced almonds |
1/2 cup chocolate chips |
1/4 cup butter |
Directions:
1. Line bottom of square cake pan pan with almonds, then spread 1/4 of Cool Whip on top of them. 2. Cut all ice cream sandwiches in half then lay them side by side on top of Cool Whip. 3. Spread another layer of Cool Whip then more almonds. 4. Lay rest of ice cream sandwich halves then another layer of Cool Whip. 5. Freeze completely. 6. Melt butter and chocolate in microwave and spread over top. 7. Freeze until chocolate is cold and hard. 8. When ready to serve take knife along the edges of pan to loosen, flip upside down and there ya go-pretty huh? |
