So good-no more going to 31 Flavors for an ice cream cake. Prep time does not include freezing time. Ingredients:
1 (1 ounce) package oreo cookies, crushed |
1/3 cup melted butter |
1/2 gallon soft vanilla ice cream |
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans |
2 cups powdered sugar |
1 (2 ounce) can evaporated milk |
2/3 cup chocolate chips |
1/2 cup margarine |
Directions:
1. Mix cookie crumbs and melted butter. 2. Press into 9x13-inch pan. 3. Spread ice cream over cookies and sprinkle with 1 cup pecans; return to freezer. 4. In saucepan, combine sugar, milk, chocolate chips, and margarine. 5. Bring to a boil; boil for 8 minutes. 6. Remove from heat and cool completely. 7. Pour over ice cream; sprinkle with reserved pecans. 8. Freeze. |
