Ice Cream and Berry Sponge |

Easy to do for a quick impromptu dinner party dessert ! Ingredients:
500 ml ice cream, softened, any flavour |
1 sponge cake, double layer, unfilled |
250 g berries, for decoration |
60 g milk chocolate, grated, for decoration |
Directions:
1. Soften ice cream in fridge for about 10 minutes. 2. Place one layer of sponge on serving dish. 3. Spread 2/3 of ice cream over this layer. 4. Top with next layer of cake and then spread remaining ice cream over it. 5. Decorate with an assortment of berries and chocolate. 6. Cover with plastic wrap. 7. Place in airtight container and freeze till needed. |
