YUM, another good summer time dessert, no oven heating up the house with this one either. Enjoy Ingredients:
1 pkg.lady fingers |
1-3oz. pkg cherry gelatin |
1 cup boiling water |
2 cups black cherry ice cream |
1-8oz. container whipped topping,thawed |
chocolate syrup |
marachino cherries |
Directions:
1. Line bottom of loaf pan with lady fingers. 2. Stir gelatin in boiling water until dissolved.Stir in ice cream until dissolved .Pour into lined loaf pan.Cover with a second layer of lady fingers.Chill until firm. 3. Spread thawed whipped topping on top of the gelatin ice cream mixture.Drizzle with chocolate syrup as desired.Garnish with marachino cherries. 4. *Note:Some lady fingers may float to the top. |
