Ingredients:
2 c cornmeal
1 t flour
1/2 t baking soda
1 t baking powder
1 t salt
3 t onions, minced
1 c buttermilk
1 egg, beaten
crisco oil
Directions:
1. Combine cornmeal, flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
2. Add onion and mix with buttermilk.
3. Stir in egg.
4. Drop by a teaspoon full into hot oil and fry 10 minutes or until golden brown.
