A great Southern favorite. Ingredients:
2 1/4 cups self rising corn meal |
3 tbsp all rising flour |
1 tbsp chopped onion |
1 egg |
1 cup milk or water |
Directions:
1. Combine corn meal, flour and onion, add egg. Beat in milk. Drop from spoon into hot fat where fish was fried. Fry until golden brown. Drain and spread with butter. |
