A nice way to use up extra berries in the summer. Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, melted |
3/4 cup flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
3/4 cup sugar |
3/4 cup milk |
4 cups blackberries (or raspberries) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350F degrees. 2. Place butter in 2qt casserole dish. 3. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar& milk; pour over butter in casserole dish- do not stir. 4. Top with berries. 5. Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes- crust will form on top. |
