Got from Angie but missed out the coconut . Ingredients:
1 large size fowl - remove flesh as much as you can . it will add upto 1 medium size bowl . keep the boney part for some other dish ( salna ) |

1 small size big onion |
1 tbsp black pepper |
1 tbsp split green gram dhal |
1 tbsp uncooked rice |
1/2 tbsp cumin seeds |
1/2 tbsp fennel seeds |
1 tbsp water |
1 tbsp coconut ( optional ) |
1 big onion , sliced |
1 tomatoe , sliced |
2 tbsp sambar pwd |
salt |
Directions:
1. Fry the onion for 2 mins . 2. Add the tomatoe slices and fry for 1 min . 3. Add the sambar pwd . 4. Continue to fry for 2 mins . 5. Add the paste and fry until the oil leaves the sides . 6. Add the chicken and mix well . 7. Once it changes the colour add half cup water . 8. Check salt . 9. Cover and simmer for 10 mins . 10. Serve HOT with Green Biryani . 11. ( Green Biryani ). |
