Hungry Jack Beef Casserole |

This is a casserole that my mom used to make all the time when we were kids. I have also made it for my kids. It is comfort food. Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 (16 ounce) can pork and beans |
3/4 cup barbecue sauce |
2 tablespoons brown sugar |
1 tablespoon instant minced onion |
1 can hungry jack biscuit |
1 cup grated cheddar cheese |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. 2. Brown ground meat and drain. 3. Stir in the next five ingredients. 4. Heat until bubbly. 5. Pour mixture into a sprayed 2 quart casserole dish. 6. Cut the biscuits in half to form 20 half circles. 7. Place biscuits cut side down on top of mixture. 8. Sprinkle with cheese. 9. Bake for 30 minutes. |
