Hungarian Steak Casserole |

Got this from Yankee Magazine and it is so good on a cold New England night.. Ingredients:
2 lbs. round steak, cut into 1/2 inch cubes |
3 tbls. olive oil |
1 lg. onion diced |
1 clove garlic, finely minced |
2 tbls. flour |
1 3 oz. can mushrooms with liquid |
1/2 cup chopped celery |
1 cup sour cream |
1 8 oz. can tomato sauce |
1 tsp. each of salt and pepper |
1 tbls. worcestershire sauce |
Directions:
1. In pan, brown meat in olive oil 2. Add onion and garlic and cook until translucent 3. Stir in flour then remaining ingredients 4. Mix thoroughly and put into buttered casserole dish 5. Bake at 350 for 1 1/2-2 hours. 6. I've served with buttered noodles or rice. |
