Ingredients:
3 tablespoon(s) butter |
3 cup(s) onions, thinly sliced |
1 cup(s) green pepper, diced |
2 teaspoon(s) salt |
1 tablespoon(s) hungarian sweet paprika |
2 pound(s) chuck roast, boned |
1 tablespoon(s) hungarian sweet paprika |
Directions:
1. Trim all visible fat and grizzle from chuck roast. Cut into 1-inch cubes. 2. In hot butter in Dutch oven, sauté onions and green pepper with salt until golden. Stir in well 1 tablespoon paprika and meat; simmer, covered, 1 hour. Add 1 tablespoon paprika and simmer for 1 additional hour, or until meat is fork tender. 3. Serve with boiled noodles and cucumber salad. |
