A great comfort food, so easy to make and delicious. Ingredients:
1 tablespoon oil |
1 1/2 lbs boneless beef cubes |
1 (2 ounce) envelope lipton onion and mushroom soup mix or 1 (2 ounce) envelope onion soup mix |
1 1/2 tablespoons paprika |
1 (16 ounce) can stewed tomatoes |
2 tablespoons flour |
salt |
1 cup water |
8 ounces pkge. broad egg noodles (cooked) |
Directions:
1. In Dutch Oven or large saucepan, heat oil and brown beef. 2. Add onion mushroom soup mix and paprika blended with tomatoes. 3. Simmer covered, stirring occasionally, 1 1/2 hours or until beef is tender. 4. Stir in flour and salt blended with water. 5. Bring to a boil, then simmer, stirring constantly, until sauce is thickened, about 5 minutes. 6. Serve with cooked noodles. |
