Basic little dumplings to go in Hungarian soups. Use in Jokai Bableves (Hungarian bean soup) and other such recipes. Ingredients:
1 egg |
3 tablespoons all purpose flour |
1 pinch salt |
1 teaspoon vegetable oil |
if you really love lots of little dumplings in your soup, you can double the recipe. |
Directions:
1. Beat egg with oil, then mix ingredients together. 2. Spoon mixture into boiling soup, using 1/4 teaspoon at a time. 3. Cook in the soup for 2-3 minutes just before serving. |
