Hungarian Beef Stew - Slow Cooker Style |

I came across this recipe in a magazine I recently got. This sounds so good and I will be making this recipe this weekend. Ingredients:
1 1/4 lbs beef chuck |
1 lb carrot, sliced |
2 cups onions, chopped |
3 cups cabbage, thinly sliced |
2 cups water |
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste |
1 (8 ounce) package onion and mushroom soup mix |
1 tablespoon paprika |
1 teaspoon caraway seed |
1 cup sour cream |
serve with egg noodles |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients except sour cream and noodles in a 3 1/2 quart slow cooker. 2. Cook and cover on low 8 hours until tender. Turn off cooker and stir in sour cream until well blended. 3. Cook noodles of your choice and serve over. |
