For those cold fall & winter nights- Easy Crock Pot meal. Ingredients:
1 1/4 lbs beef stew meat |
1 lb carrot, sliced |
2 medium onions, thinly sliced |
3 cups cabbage, thinly sliced |
1/2 cup red wine |
1/2 cup water |
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste |
1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope lipton onion mushroom dry soup mix |
1 tablespoon paprika |
1 cup reduced-fat sour cream |
egg noodles |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients except sour cream in crock pot. Cover & cook on low 8 - 10 hours until tender. Turn off & stir in sour cream until well blended. Serve over hot cooked egg noodles. |
