Easy quick hummus recipe that uses sesame and canola oils instead of tahini. Ingredients:
1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed |
1/4 cup red bell pepper |
1 tablespoon garlic granules |
1/4 cup canola oil |
1 tablespoon sesame oil |
1 teaspoon cilantro |
2 teaspoons cumin |
1/2-2/3 cup water |
Directions:
1. Drain the beans and rinse them until that water no longer bubbles. 2. Combine all ingredients in a food processor or blender, beans first and spices last. 3. Turn on food processor or blender. 4. Slowly add water until hummus reaches desired consistency. 5. Pour into bowl and eat. |
