HUMMUS SESAME DIP This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Garcia Estate in Fort Worth, Texas in 1994. Ingredients:
1 can garbanzo beans drained |
3 tablespoon crushed sesame seeds |
1/2 cup lemon juice |
1 clove garlic |
1/2 teaspoon cumin |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
water |
Directions:
1. Place drained beans in blender. 2. Add remaining ingredients then add enough water to almost cover beans. 3. Blend until smooth then pour into serving dish. 4. Pour very thin layer of olive oil on top and sprinkle with parsley. 5. Serve with pita bread. |
