A hummus without tahini. Ingredients:
1 (15 ounce) can garbanzo beans (no salt added) |
1 garlic clove, minced |
2 tablespoons lemon juice |
3 tablespoons light sour cream |
1 tablespoon olive oil |
salt and pepper |
1/4-1/2 teaspoon cumin |
baby carrots |
assorted fresh vegetable |
pita chips |
Directions:
1. Rinse and drain the garbanzo beans. 2. Place into a bowl add the garlic and mash well yet still retaining some texture. 3. Mix in the sour cream, olive oil, and lemon juice. 4. Add cumin, salt & pepper to taste. 5. Serve with baby carrots other veggies or pita chips. |
