This is my favorite hummus recipe. Ingredients:
400 g chickpeas ( rinsed and drained ) |
1 garlic clove crushed ( i use minced garlic ) |
1 tsp ground cumin |
1 tsp ground coriander |
1 tbsp tahini |
3 tbsp olive oil |
juice of 1/2 to 3/4 of a lemon |
salt & pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Put chickpeas, garlic, cumin, coriander, tahini & olive oil in a food processor. 2. Squeeze in juice of 1/2 a lemon. 3. Process to a smooth puree. 4. Season with salt & pepper and more lemon if required ( to your taste ). 5. Serve :o) |
