Traditional Middle Eastern Vegetarian Dish Ingredients:
2 cans cooked garbanzo beans / chick peas |
4- 6 cloves garlic - chopped coarsely |
3- 4 tablespoons sesame tahini (fresher is tastier) |
2- 3 tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon juice |
1 teaspoon kosher salt |
2 tablespoons olive oil |
1 tablespoon sweet or smokey paprika |
Directions:
1. Drain Garbanzo Beans (reserve liquid) 2. Add: Garbanzo Beans, Chopped Garlic, Tahini, Lemon Juice, and Salt to food processor and pulse/puree until smooth (adding reserved liquid if needed). 3. Adjust Lemon Juice & Salt to taste. 4. Move to serving bowl, drizzle with Olive Oil and dust with Paprika. 5. Serve with warm Pita Chips, Corn Chips, or Vegetable Sticks. |
