This recipe is soooo not set in stone. Use more or less of every ingredient, to fit your own palette. You can also make black bean hummus, sun dried tomato hummus and many other variations. Use extra oil to thin it down - I am considering maybe trying some hot water as an alternative to thin it. Ingredients:
1/2 cup dried chickpeas |
2 tbsp oil |
1 tsp minced garlic |
1 tsp lemon juice |
1 tsp cumin |
Directions:
1. Soak beans overnight or but a 15oz can. 2. Place all of the ingredients into a food processor. Blend. Add extra seasonings as necessary and oil for consistency. |
