Homemade hummus dip make with chickpeas and tahini. Ingredients:
2 cloves garlic, chopped |
1/4 cup lemon juice |
1/4 cup water |
14 ounces chickpeas, rinsed, drained |
1/2 cup tahini |
1 tsp salt |
Directions:
1. Blend in food processor. 2. To make tahini - 3. 2 Tbsp sesame seeds 4. 1/2 tsp sesame oil 5. 1/4 tsp salt 6. 1/4 cup water, tepid 7. Grind seeds until smooth. Add oil, salt, and then slowly add 1/4 cup of water while blending. Blend until completely smooth. |
