This is a cheap recipe for hummingbird feeders my step mother-in-law uses all the time and she says it works as well as the syrup you buy in stores.

Ingredients:

1 cup sugar

4 cups water

red food coloring

Directions:

1. Mix the water and sugars together. Add a few drops of red food coloring to attrached the birds. Store in the fridge to keep until you need it.
