Rich Cake full of flavor. Ingredients:

3 cups all-purpose flour |
2 cups sugar |
1 tsp. salt |
1 tsp. baking soda |
1 tsp. cinnamon |
3 eggs, beaten |
1 1/2 cups vegetable iol |
1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract |
1 (8-oz) can crushed pineapple, undrained |
2 cups chopped pecans |
2 cups chopped bananas |
cream cheese frosting |
1 (8oz) cream cheese, softened |
1 stick margarine or butter |
1 box ( 16 oz) powdered sugar |
1 tsp vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Cake: 2. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl by hand-do not beat. 3. Spoon batter into 3 well greased & floured 9-inch cake pans. 4. Cook 350^F 25 to 30 minutes. 5. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pans. 6. Frosting: 7. Combine in mixer powdered sugar, cream cheese, margarine and vanilla. 8. Beat until light and fluffy. 9. Spread between layers, top and sides of cake. |
